I have just sold my car on eBay and the buyer has sent me an email saying "I have changed my mind" NEED advice?

I listed my car on eBay accurately and fairly.. The highest bidder has just sent me a message saying "He has changed his mind"


WHY the hell do people bid on items if they have NO intention of paying for the goods.


What do I do about this, Thank you all for your answers.

When you bid for an item on ebay you are entering into a legal contract to pay for it should you win, so you have the full power of the law behind you. Start by reporting his action to ebay.
Reply:About all you can do is report him to eBay and his record will get messed up. Depending on his number of past transactions this may he quite a blow. Make sure that you give very negative feedback for the guy. If I was selling a big item like a car I would put in the ad that I would not accept bids from people with less than a minimum number of feedbacks.
Reply:Get in touch with Ebay, and leave negative feedback on his profile.





You could email the next highest bidder and see if they still want it at the price they bid, Its called a second chance offer.





Or you could just re-list it, and out on your ad that it is up again due to timewasters.
Reply:i think you can report him or something cause it says when you bid you are entering a contract for this item for whatever amout you bid





And you can give him a really bad rating
