that is what runs my oil pump that why my 3.0l 2000 ford ranger is knocking and when the truck is warm up the oil gauge starts bouncing from needle to needle only at a idle when you hit the gas you hear the knocking not at idle you hear it when you first start up then it quits until you give it gas please heeeeeeeeeeellllppppppp before i spend money i don't have
This the 2nd email to my issue someone i know told me its my crankshaft angle sensor?
Sounds like you are low on oil or have very low oil pressure. Could be time for a new engine.
